3.  CONTRIBUTION BY CHECK

Please make your check payable to Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest and send to:
Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest
Attn:  Development Department
1800 White Bear Avenue North
Maplewood, MN 55109

4.  STOCK TRANSFER

In interested in donating stock?  We can help. Click on the link below for our stock donation form. Donation of appreciated stock is a great way to support Junior Achievement and also save on your taxes. Typically you not only get a charitable deduction for the amount of your gift, but you also avoid having to pay taxes on any gains since acquiring the stock (please consult you tax advisor for specifics related to your situation). JAUM puts your stock donation to work quickly – we do not hold your stock, but rather sell it immediately and put the proceeds to work supporting our financial literacy programming. If you are over 70 1/2 and would like to donate from your IRA (must be done prior to the end of 2009), please contact your IRA trustee for the proper forms to make the donation to JAUM.

5.  MATCHING GIFT FORM

If your company offers a matching gift program, please consider including the form with your contribution. This will enable JA to reach even more students with your gift.

Thank you for your tax-deducible gift!

Junior Achievement is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, to which contributions are tax-deductible to the extend permitted by law.  Junior Achievement meets all Standards in Philanthropy, as detailed by the National Charities Information Bureau.

6.  HERITAGE SOCIETY

JA has established the Junior Achievement Heritage Society.  Membership is open to all individuals who include JA in their estate planning through such instruments as bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts and life insurance.
