In the Brainerd Lakes Area, the Junior Achievement programs continue to run strong in the
Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Pillager, Pequot Lakes, Pine River and Crosby-Ironton communities.
This school year, more than 3,500 students will participate in JA programs including the capstone
program JA BizTown. JA is funded locally by individuals, corporations, foundations and
special events. A local board of directors oversees the program and fundraising efforts
in the Brainerd community.
