At the Philanthropy Center, students will choose a non-profit organization to support for the day. Employees will raise awareness of the organization and its mission and will work to gain the support of JA BizTown businesses and citizens. All businesses will give a financial contribution and JA BizTown citizens will be encouraged to make a personal donation as well. Students will learn about careers in philanthropy, the structure and purpose of non-profit organizations, and the importance of giving back to help strengthen our community.
