Students in grades 9-12 apply their knowledge of business as they compete online to create and market a successful company in this interactive business simulation. While simulating “business quarters,” students make decisions on price, production, marketing, capital investment, and R & D. JA Titan enhances business, economics and math skills while demonstrating the impact that decisions have on the success or failure of each company. JA Titan can take place at school, at an area business, or at our experiential learning facility in St. Paul, Minnesota. There is no fee for schools to participate in the JA Titan Business Challenge. Competitions can take place in your school, at a local business, or at Junior Achievement.
In response to COVID-19 guidelines, we re-imagined the 2020 Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest (JAUM) Titan Competition to go virtual. On Tuesday, May 19, teams from Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin high schools participated in this year’s virtual event. Congratulations to the winning teams:
- First Place – Edina High School (MN)
- Second Place – West Fargo High School (ND)
- Third Place – Edina High School (MN)
