Taylor Brand Marketing Center

The Brand Marketing Center publishes websites and creates direct marketing postcards for businesses throughout JA BizTown. Our employees gain exposure to the design and manufacturing of these products, learn important teamwork and customer service skills and see firsthand how marketing helps drive business results. Customers can purchase Junior Achievement briefcases and money logo hats (debit cards only).

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  • Works with the Director of Product Development to determine retail pricing per item
  • Collects marketing plan worksheet from each business and provides info to the Graphic Designer for completion
  • Sells and send invoice to each JA BizTown business for marketing service
  • Creates customer receipts and provides them to the Head of Production and Fulfillment

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

  • Review the products, pricing and chosen marketing items with the Sales Rep
  • Customize the marketing items and supply the files to the Head of Production and Fulfillment
  • Review design specs and purchase orders provided by the Sales Rep
  • Customize the product supply orders and supply the files to the Head of Production and fulfillment

DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

  • Reviews and chooses products to sell
  • Creates product samples and display
  • Documents material, manufacturing, packaging and delivery costs
  • Works with the Sales Rep to determine the retail pricing per item
  • Learns how to operate the sales computer to accept sales
  • Supervises product production process and approves final products before fulfillment
  • Greets customers and assists with sales

HEAD OF PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT

  • Produce and deliver marketing products to businesses
