Delta Air Lines Travel Center

At the Travel Center, students can explore the world of travel. Each JA BizTown business will support business travel for their employees. Citizens will be encouraged to visit the Travel Center during their break times to travel to a destination with virtual reality and explore the benefits of Sky Club membership. While visiting the Sky Club, customers can purchase snacks, Mardi Gras masks, and pilot hats (debit cards only).

CEO

  • Signs Rental Agreement for business space
  • Supervises employees and oversees business operations
  • Signs all business payroll and expense checks
  • Prepares and gives speeches at Town Meetings
  • Works with employees to determine pricing of products
  • Assists with all business duties when employees are on break
  • Fills in for CFO when necessary

CFO

  • Inputs and submits business loan to the bank
  • Inputs employee payroll information
  • Prints and distributes employee payroll checks
  • Prints and distributes business expense checks
  • Keeps all records of business expenses and payments
  • Makes business deposits at Bank
  • Signs business checks if CEO is not available

SKY CLUB AGENT

  • Works with CEO to set prices of products and experiences
  • Sets up the POS system
  • Greets customers & accepts sales using the POS
  • Assists customers with buying plane ticket at kiosks
  • Delivers ordered items to customers

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

  • Assembles products for sale relating to travel and aviation
  • Learns how a jet engine works
  • Assembles a model of a jet engine
  • Assists with sales as needed
