regional office stock photo webDuring the 2016-2017 school year, Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest served 5,061 K-12 students in the communities of Owatonna, Waseca, and Medford. We partnered with more than 200 local volunteers who donated 34,698 hours of their time and energy to offer local students the knowledge and skills to be successful in today’s world. Programs offered include the traditional classroom programs (K-12), and the capstone programs of JA BizTown, JA Finance Park Virtual, JA Company Program and JA Titan. This unique opportunity is available to local schools thanks to the generosity of local foundations, corporations and individual donors, as well as to the many volunteers who give their time to teach JA lessons in the classrooms. Our Owatonna Advisory Board has 18 active members and two part-time staff.
